Foster Love....part 1

Today was part one of our Foster Lovin' weekend. :)

We went over to Lynn's house for lunch and to let the family hold little Everett today.

This is the first time Grandma Sherry has been able to hold Everett since he was born.

She was pretty thrilled about it. :)

Lynn thought it was a picture worthy event...if he could just figure out how to get his camera to cooperate with him. :)

The whole family got in on the action. This kid is just too cute for anyone to resist.

Even MeeMaw got in on the action. :)

Everett got a little worn out from all of the action. So, we put him in his sling so that he could get some rest.

Then, per Dr's orders, we took in some sunlight and tried to recharge a bit.

Once we got home, Goose had to welcome his little brother home. It just isn't the same without him around. :)

Then, Everett decided to spend some time awake, not crying (I know, it's amazing). So, you know what that means...Daddy and Everett got to hang out in the bedroom for the long awaited photo shoot. :)

**yawn** I'm exhausted. Today has been an exciting day for us. Tomorrow we are going to MiMi Candy's house for lunch.

Also, Everett's ostomy supplies should finally arrive tomorrow. Luckily, we had a good ostomy day today. We learned some tricks from Hollister and I think that we will have more good days from here on out.

It's about time to feed again and then sleepy time until 6 a.m. Dylan is going to give Everett a full formula bottle at 3 a.m. and we're going to see how that works tonight. I'm not sure how I feel about giving him the formula, especially since he is not real fond of it, but I'm having trouble keeping up with feeding him and pumping, so we're trying to conserve some of the EBM. I'll let you know how it goes.

Tomorrow will probably be a late blog again, but I'll try to spend some more time on the blog on Tuesday.

xoxo
Margot

  1. What a great day for everyone at the Foster Compound!!! I just want to dance in the streets!!!! It seems that everything is just falling into place and we can thank little Everett for that. What a remarkable child. Everyday is going to be a blessing just having him around. I am not sure why I have such loving feelings for this special child...that I have only seen once....but I do!!! Babies just have a way of wiggling theirselves into your heart!!!!

Dylan, Margot and Everett...I love you three!!!

May God continue to Bless this new family.

    Love, Aunt Katanna
