Eleven pictures, five videos, no comments. I am dissapointed in you. It sure is hard to keep this blog going without encouragement... :)

Here are the updates.

On Saturday, 3/22, Daddy decided to try to share his Dr. Pepper addiction with KP. Luckily, the binky proved to be wayyy more appetizing.

Sunday, 3/23, was Easter this year. KP had lots of fun. The Easter Bunny snuck in overnight and left KP a present.

Is that for me??

Ooooohhhhh.....Aaaaahhhh....

Umm....Mommy, I think I got crabs. :D

Goose was very interested in the whole ordeal.

Is that a penguin?

**sigh**

Then, KP got to have his second ever bath! No, he's not a dirty kid! We have been told up to this point that he could not have submersion baths because of his ostomy, so we have been giving him spongebaths for the last 7 months. Well, no more! Mommy got fed up with that, so KP is now getting baths in the kitchen sink! :)

Apparently there is a picture of Daddy floating around that looks just like this (minus the ostomy, of course). :)

Toys!!! :)

" The Easter Bunny hooked me up!"

Shampoo Head

This is KPs Rocky impersonation (a.k.a. the most pitiful face I've ever seen).

All Clean!

Into the Easter outfit! You should see the tail!

KP checking out the cool duck Mimi got him.

After all of the excitement from Easter, it was time to calm down. KP had surgery early Monday morning. I know Bachan already gave you the details, but I swear they were in there for only half an hour. It's crazy what they can do these days!

I had surgery today...can you tell?

Here is one of the coolest things about this particular surgery...outpatient procedure. Wow. It is so weird to bring a baby home the same day that they go into the hospital. This will officially be the first time I have gotten to do THAT! Lots of firsts this weekend.

KP is feeling much better now. He is healing well. We are shuffling him around while we attempt to get the house finished. I will be posting a new blog soon, dedicated to our home improvements. I cannot guarantee individual photo posts, but it should be interesting all the same.

xoxo

  1. Sorry for the lack of comments. I'm a better reader than a writer. everett's bath is cute. And we're sure glad that his hernia surgery is behind him.

  2. Hey Lady...I put my comment on the post AFTER the pics...I read both posts in one day. I agree though that it's discouraging when people read but don't write. I think people are getting bored with us.

  4. It is about time some other people kept up with Aunt Katanna!!!! I know mine are usually long but hopefully entertaining!!!! The bath was adorable!!! Seven months of a sponge bath....I personally would have flipped out by now with only a sponge bath. You are hearing from a clean fanatic who takes a shower in the morning and a bath at night!!!! I have been known to even take three if needed.
Everett....kick those legs and make a "BIG Mess" next time you get in that sink situation!!!!! You are so cute and Aunt Katanna just loves you to pieces!!!! Hope to see you again soon!!!

Everyday...wake up and tell someone you love them!!!!

I love you Everett and am so thankful for your life.

    Love, Aunt Katanna

  5. ok, I have tried adding my MANY movies on Blogger. How have you managed to do so? I followed the instructions given, but when I do, it takes forever & then comes back w/ some kind of error message. Any advice?
