Country Critters Farm

We wanted to try a new place to go, so we went to the Country Critters Farm way in the middle of nowhere. I think it would probably be fun to go to with a party, but only fun for us because KP got to run around freely. But, we could have found a place to do that closer to home. Oh well, you live and you learn. We always love new experiences. And this is 2 days post op. Notice the fun Iron Giant cast. :) Now that KP knows it comes off, he keeps saying "okay. It's time to take this off now" like he used to say about his brace. :)

We stopped at Grandy's to get the adults something to eat, because KP was sleeping. But the food woke him up, and we lost it to his dinosaur appetite. :)

Once we got home, KP wanted to play in his wagon, and Daddy wanted to take pictures, so it all worked out for everyone. :)

March 2010 - snow again?

We spent some time out at Mamaw and Papaw's house with Josiah.

And it snowed...again. This is the only picture we took. This is how over snow we have gotten. I still love seeing it, it still makes me happy, but it just isn't picture worthy after so many snowfalls. :)

In March, I went to Muncie, IN for work, and while I was gone, Dylan had to squeeze in a photoshoot to meet a competition deadline. These are the pictures that he took that I love, but didn't make the cut for competition.

One of my favorites for sure!

My other favorite.

This is KP honoring his Japanese heritage by wearing a crazy had and flashing the peace sign in a photo. :)

Even Goose got in on the fun. :)

While I was gone, it was time for KP to go back for a revision of his hand. The scar on his thumb was getting particularly nasty, and pulling his thumb at weird angles. So, Dylan got him all bundled up and off to the doctor.

KP has decided that this cast will be blue, so it will be Iron Giant arm. :) Hopefully this will be the last time we have to name a cast for him...well, at least in the near future. I can't believe for a second that we will get past his childhood without him breaking something...but I can hope. :)

Misc. February 2010

Papaw came to visit on the 15th for a late Happy Birthday. :)

And KP got a new Bachan Hat that fit him just a little bit better.

The boys spent some time in lockup.
